  • Connect another piece of equipment grounding conductor in the same way to the positive line on your house circuit breaker panel.
  • Connect the third piece of equipment grounding conductor in between the negative output wires from the battery charger and one of your house circuits with a load (like an appliance).
  • Connect a fourth similar length piece of equipment grounding conductor between the negative power cable coming from your solar energy system’s negative terminal block or junction box, and one of your house circuits with a load.
  • Connect wiring securely using appropriate electrical boxes, cable clamps, mounting straps, etc., following standard local electrical codes for safe installation that minimizes fire hazards.
  • Connect equipment grounding conductors to avoid possible shock hazards. Connect all interconnection wiring using appropriate wire nuts, butt splices, etc., following standard local electrical codes for safe installation that minimizes fire hazards.
